Bristol Gang Variety Show 3.0 more
Over 325 years of performing experience in one show! Don't miss the performers you know and love from the Bristol Renaissance Faire as they break from their restrictions for ONE NIGHT ONLY at the Gorton Center in Lake Forest, IL.
Moonie, The Swordsmen, The New Minstrel Revue, and Our Curtain Guy are but a few taking the stage in this sweet taste of Bristol talent. 3/16/10 - 2009/2010 Board Members more
The 2009-2010 Board of Directors are as follows:
Carol Black, Chris Major, Gayle
French, Danielle DuPont, Brande Watson, Phil
Johnson, Melissa Starks, Erin Iversen, Lynda McCann,
and Donna Morris
Lynda McCann comes to us from
years of service in the nonprofit sector; Erin
Iversen brings the next generation viewpoint to our
foundation; and Donna Morris offers hands on fund
raising experience. We welcome them to our cause.
RESCU’s goals include expanding
our preventative and awareness programs, utilizing
committees to complete tasks, recognizing our growth
and the need for paid staff, and continuing the
successful disbursement and advocacy programs.
Since our inception, we have
disbursed over $350,000.00 worth of medical aid, and
the 2 year old Advocacy Program has negotiated over
$1,000,000.00 (yes, one million dollars) off of
medical bills.
We will continue to serve those
in medical need with financial assistance and
advocacy in a confidential and professional manner.
None of this could be achieved without your support,
and we thank you so much for allowing us to continue
our mission.
Sincerely,
Carol Black

PS: It is with great regret to
say that since our annual meeting our treasurer,
Lynn Brantley, has had to step down for medical
reasons. We have acquired a bookkeeper to do the
daily finances and check writing, but we are in need
of finding the perfect person for this executive
position. If you have the interest and ability to
join us for our monthly conference call, please
contact us for an interview.

"Blue Show" more
The Motley Players Three "Blue Show" will be held the evening
of May 16th at the Crown Stage of the Scarborough Renaissance
Festival.
Please join them and their special guest, Doktor Kaboom!
All proceeds will be donated to the RESCU Foundation.
The Motley Players Three is an improvisational comedy act
that will raise money by offering water balloons to throw
at the performers during the show; our equivalent of tomatoes
but less messy. This will be the 4th year doing this benefit.
It is a "Blue Show" because, after hours, they can do and
say those things that are restrained from during the faire
day. All workers, crafters and entertainers are invited
to stop by and throw some balloons for RESCU.
